All construction projects totaling in excess of
$15,000 will be advertised in a locally circulated newspaper. Copies
of construction documents will be available at both the Commission and the
engineer's office for a nonrefundable deposit. Bids will be publicly
opened and read aloud. Bids must be received in a sealed envelope
with the contractor's license number clearly written on the outside.
In addition, all bids must be furnished with a bid bond totaling 5% of the
proposed bid.
