Entry or Mid-level position to perform semiskilled work in a variety of utility line construction, repair, and maintenance assignments involving the use of common tools and frequently operates equipment in connection with the semiskilled tasks to which assigned.

Utility Operator
Experienced position to perform responsible skilled work in a variety of utility line construction, repair and maintenance assignments involving the use of common tools and frequently operates equipment in connection with the semiskilled tasks to which assigned.
MINIMUM LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
- Operator I (licensure requirements): Possess and maintain at least a “D” level operator license in Water Treatment and/or Water Distribution as issued by the state of South Carolina Environmental Certification Board OR at least a “D” level operator license in Wastewater Collections as issued by the Water Environment Association of South Carolina
- Operator II (licensure requirements): Possess and maintain at least a “D” level operator license in Water Treatment and/or Water Distribution as issued by the state of South Carolina Environmental Certification Board AND at least a “D” level operator license in Wastewater Collections as issued by the Water Environment Association of South Carolina
- Operator III (licensure requirements): Possess and maintain at least a “C” level operator license in Water Distribution as issued by the state of South Carolina Environmental Certification Board, at least a “D” level operator license in Water Treatment AND at least a “C” level operator license in Wastewater Collections as issued by the Water Environment Association of South Carolina

Billing Specialist (no longer taking applications at this time)
Position performs account and billing operations, a variety of routine clerical, and financial related duties with a high level of accuracy, exercising judgment in applying established office practices and procedures, and deals effectively and professionally with customers on a variety of issues. This position will serve as a backup Customer Service Representative.
Information & Business Systems Specialist
Entry-level posistion helps monitor, maintain, and optimizes the organization’s document management platforms and core business systems. Working under the supervision of the Business Process Manager and in tandem with our 3rd-party IT provider and external vendors, this role ensures data integrity, system security, and daily backup compliance while assisting departments with information/data workflows, documenting operational procedures, and helping to integrate AI and data-driven tools to enhance organizational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in information sciences, library sciences, informatics or related field is REQUIRED
