Utility Technician I
Entry level position to perform semiskilled work in a variety of utility line construction, repair, and maintenance assignments involving the use of common tools and frequently operates equipment in connection with the semiskilled tasks to which assigned.

Experienced level position to perform semi-skilled and administrative work in the operation, maintenance and repair of water booster pump stations, water storage facilities, sewer lift stations, sewer-metering devices, chemical feed equipment, and sampling.

Utility Operator I

- Must possess at least a "D" level operator license in Water Treatment and/or Water Distribution as issued by the state of South Carolina Environmental Certification Board.
- Must possess at least a "D" level operator license in Wastewater Collections as issued by the Water Environment Association of South Carolina.

Utility Operator II
Experienced position to perform responsible skilled work in a variety of utility line construction, repair and maintenance assignments involving the use of common tools and frequently operates equipment in connection with the semiskilled tasks to which assigned.
- Must possess at least a "C" level operator license in Water Distribution as issued by the state of South Carolina Environmental Certification Board
- Must possess at least a “D” level operator license in Water Treatment as issued by the state of South Carolina Environmental Certification Board
- Must possess at least a "C" level operator license in Wastewater Collections as issued by the Water Environment Association of South Carolina

Customer Service Representative (on hold, interviewing)
Customer Service Representative duties include, but are not limited to, taking payments, taking applications for new customers, handling high volume calls while effectively assisting customers, scheduling service work orders, filing, etc. The qualified candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees, demonstrate strong organizational skills, give excellent attention to detail, and have the ability to prioritize workflow while meeting timely deadlines.

Senior Accountant
This position works closely with the Finance Manager to ensure that the day-to-day accounting operations and financial management functions are carried out in accordance with Commission policy, procedures, guidelines and systems, as well as GASB reporting requirements and generally accepted accounting principles. To perform highly technical accounting functions such as maintaining all accounts within the General Ledger, developing tools for analysis, record reconciliation, posting to accounts and assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the budgets of the various departments within the Commission.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Preference for CPA, CPFO, or CGFO certification.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience. Preference for experience working in the finance department of a public water/sewer utility and/or experience auditing a public water/sewer utility.
The qualified candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees, demonstrate strong organizational skills, give excellent attention to detail, and have the ability to prioritize workflow while meeting timely deadlines.
