The SC General Assembly officially declared the first Monday in March of each year Water Professionals Day. This year, we'll celebrate the second annual Water Professionals Day on March 3, 2025.
Water Professionals Day is an opportunity to shine a light on the essential but often unseen water services that support our communities: safe drinking water, wastewater collection and treatment, and stormwater management. Professionals working in these careers are honored for their dedication to serving their communities throughout South Carolina.
