Water Main Improvements - Charter Oak Tank to Sherwood Dr

Note: This project has been combined with the Sherwood Waterline Extension Project (shown on website as a separate project)  and will be bid as one project. 

Construction of approximately 36,250 linear feet of water main and associated appurtenances along Old Farm, Rawl, Smith Pond, Belo, Roscoe Road, and Sherwood. This will be a new transmission main to increase capacity to the southern side of the system and relieve pressure off of Highway One and Calks Ferry.

The combined project will be bid as shown below: 

Base bid: This project will generally consist of approximately 28,500 linear feet (LF) of 36-inch DI water main, 2,500 LF of 42-inch HDPE water main by bore and 5,250 LF of 24-inch DI water main, and site improvements to the existing Calks Ferry Tank site. 

Alternate bid: This project will generally consist of approximately 33,750 linear feet (LF) of 36-inch DI water main and 2,500 LF of 42-inch HDPE water main by bore, and site improvements to the existing Calks Ferry Tank site.
