Joint Municipal Water and Sewer Commission staff have completed the water main repair at the intersection of Swansea Heights Avenue and Redmond Mill Road in Swansea, SC.

BOIL WATER ADVISORY ISSUED FOR:

504 and 508 Redmond Mill Road Swansea, SC, SC 29160

408 to 433 Swansea Heights Avenue Swansea, SC 29160

Due to a disruption of water services in the affected areas, Customers are advised to observe the following safety precaution. Boil all water used for drinking and cooking for a minimum of two minutes until further notice. This is a safety precaution only. All customers should have pressure and flow at this time. Customers may experience some entrained air (milky appearance) in the water due to staff isolating valves/recharging the system after repair.  Please contact our office at (803) 359-8373 should you still be experiencing pressure/flow issues or excessive amounts of air. Updates on the boil water advisory will be posted as soon as information is available.
